INDICA PIPES/RIGID PVC PIES F0R SOLVENT CEMENT JOINING

INDICA pipes are manufactured in accordance with Bureau of Iindian Standards specification IS: 4985:2000 and other international standards DIN, BIN, ASTM. Our products range from 20mm dia to 400mm diameters of solvent cement joning in different working pressures. (i.e. 2.5, 4, 6, 10kg,& 15kg/cm2

INDICA PLUMBING PIPES

INDICA upvc plumbing pipes are manufactured from 20mm to 50mm diameter confirming to IS:4985:2000 for plumbing in buildings.

FEATURES & ADVANTAGES OF INDICA UPVC PIPES

  • Non-corrosive and have a glossy smooth internally and externally
  • Dielectro-lightic action,do not support the bacterial growth or encrustation
  • Non-toxic, economical than other conventional pipes like stainless steel, brass or GI pipes, etc.
  • High quality and have greater strength with uniform wall thickness
  • Light in weight and easy to handle and install
APPLICATIONS OF INDICA PIPES

  • Potable water supplies and drinking water supplies
  • For lift irrigation & bore wells
  • These pipes are widely used for irrigation systems
  • For plumbing and drainage systems in the dwelling houses.
  • Electrical industry, construction industry & chemical industry
  • For sewerage and drainage
  • Sewage pipe systems, mainly for aggressive sewage and in drinking water protection areas
  • For cableducting in information and telecom sector
  • Discharge pipes for hospitals and residential buildings
  • For slurry disposal lines
  • For dematerialised water lines
INDICA pipes are normally manufactured in uniform length of 6 metres with self socket at one side. Varied lengths can be suplied as per customer requirement

Note: Working pressure rating apply to pipes in unthread condition. Threaded pipes will have half the pressure rating of that of unthreaded pipes.

Mpa = Maga Pascal, 1 Mpa - 10Kgf/cm2; 1 Kg/cm2 = 14.5 psi

INDICA blue threaded pipes are normally manufactured in standard lengths of 3mt & 6mt. Varied lengths can be menufactured according to customer requirements.

INSTALLATION GUIDELINES

  • Care should be taken to ensure that UPVC casings & ribbed screens are lowered properly in a tube well to ensure proper gravel packing
  • The gravel packing must be carefully selected depending upon the soil conditions. The size of slot for the screens depends on this
  • Care should be taken to ensure that the gravel packing sits all around the pipe and there should not be any bridging.
Care should be taken to ensure no excessive uneven pressure is generated at the time fo development and surging.

METHOD OF JOINTING

INDICA casing and ribbed and screen pipes are provided with male threads at one end and female threads at the other(trapezoidal threads)

These joints have a good tensile strength and can take the suspended weight of the assembly for greater depths as compared to conventional metal pipe threads.

It must also be noted the bouyancy when the assembly issubmerged in the water greatly reduces load on the threaded joints.
